Overnight Postpartum Care

You were never meant to do all of this alone.

Building a village

The early weeks with a baby can be incredibly beautiful and intimate, as well as profoundly exhausting.

Overnight postpartum care offers another pair of capable and nurturing hands in your home so that you can sleep and settle into your new rhythm knowing your baby is cared for nearby. I provide overnight support for families with infants shaped around your family's unique needs.

While you rest, I can support your family with:

  • Newborn soothing, settling, diapering, and general infant care

  • Bottle feeding with milk or formula

  • Bringing baby to you for nursing/chestfeeding and resettling baby afterward

  • Washing bottles and pump parts used throughout the night

  • Supporting your established feeding and nighttime routines

  • Light baby-related tidying

  • Emotional reassurance and practical postpartum support

  • Helping you notice and understand your baby's cues as you build confidence together

Care for the parent ~

Postpartum support does not begin and end with the baby.

The first several weeks postpartum is a profound initiation into a new stage of personal development. Birth, sleep deprivation, feeding, touch, hormonal shifts, new responsibilities, and changes in identity can place extraordinary demands on the body and nervous system. My background in somatic mental health and therapeutic massage deeply informs the way I care for postpartum families, with calm, collaborative attention to the wellbeing of the entire household.

Add postpartum massage ~

When desired, families may add therapeutic massage to their care. Massage can offer a rare opportunity to be the one receiving care postpartum. Massage may also be booked for partners who are carrying their own physical and emotional load during this season.

And yes, babies need touch, too! Rather than offering massage to infants as a standalone treatment, I can incorporate gentle, developmentally appropriate touch education into postpartum support. This helps parents explore nurturing ways of connecting with their baby's body through the power of touch.

Are we a good fit?

Many of the people I work with are accustomed to being highly capable, functioning at high levels in their day to day. Physicians, attorneys, clinicians, executives, entrepreneurs, creatives, caregivers, and other high-responsibility professionals are often exceptionally good at functioning through stress.

I meet that competence with competence. You don’t need to manage me or hold everything together alone. I step in confidently so you can find rest and autonomy. You don't have to reach complete depletion before receiving help.
